Weidman receives 90-day hook after being knocked out at UFC 230

The former middleweight champion and Ben Saunders had the biggest medical suspensions of the event at Madison Square Garden in New York (USA)

Chris Weidman was knocked out by Ronaldo Jacare at 2:46 of the third round in the co-main event of UFC 230, on November 03, in New York (USA). As a result, 'All-American' received a three-month medical suspension, one of the card's biggest cliffhangers. Ben Saunders will also be away from the Octagon for 90 days.

Jacaré received a 30-day suspension and will be ready to be the reserve for the clash between Robert whittaker e Kelvin Gastelum. The middleweight title fight is scheduled to take place at UFC 234 on February 9 in Melbourne, Australia.

The other two Brazilians who participated in UFC 230 were suspended for seven days. Featherweight Sheymon Moraes won Julio Maple in split decision. On his return to heavyweight, Marcos Foot defeated Adam Wieczorek via unanimous decision.
