In the main fight of UFC 229, Khabib Nurmagomedov finished Conor McGregor in the fourth round. Through his social networks, former franchise athlete Antonio 'Pezão' congratulated the Russian and criticized the Irishman for the fight. Among the comments, one of his fans questioned the fact that the fighter is not part of the athlete list: “who is Pezão in the UFC?”. In response, the Brazilian said he left the organization to be able to earn money and get out of a 'marked card mafia'.

"Nobody. I've been out for a good few months now before I can really make money and get out of a marked card mafia. Hugs brother and stay with God”, replied Pezão.
The Brazilian fighter remained in the UFC for four years and was fired after accumulating three consecutive setbacks in 2016. Since then, Pezão has fought in two different organizations (Fight Nights Global and Titov Boxing Promotion). Antonio will face Wenbo Liu for Rebel FC, with no set date.
In 13 years of professional MMA career, Antonio has 32 fights, 19 victories, 12 setbacks and one draw.
Congratulations @TeamKhabib you show for the world you are a true champion. “RESPECT”…. This is the true champion, he was there inside the Octagon and showed how it’s done and not outside like… https://t.co/IIvxlY7Lbj
