In the main fight of UFC 229, Khabib Nurmagomedov finished Conor McGregor in the fourth round. Through his social networks, former franchise athlete Antonio 'Pezão' congratulated the Russian and criticized the Irishman for the fight. Among the comments, one of his fans questioned the fact that the fighter is not part of the athlete list: “who is Pezão in the UFC?”. In response, the Brazilian said he left the organization to be able to earn money and get out of a 'marked card mafia'.
