Brock Lesnar returns to WWE, but fight against Cormier should still happen in UFC

According to the “Wrestling Observer” website, Lesnar is confirmed for a WWE event in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd

The contract for Brock Lesnar with WWE ended in August and the heavyweight applied to US Anti-Doping Agency control to return to the UFC. However, the star surprised everyone and stepped into the telecatch league ring, this Sunday (16), during Hell in a Cell, in San Antonio (USA).

Lesnar entered the fighting area, kicked down the cage door and defeated both main event participants. According to journalist Dave Meltzer from the “Wrestling Observer” website, Lesnar is confirmed to fight at the next WWE event in Saudi Arabia, on November 2nd.

UFC fight should still happen

Despite having agreed to renew with WWE, Lesnar must still face Daniel Cormier for the UFC heavyweight belt. He hasn't signed a contract yet, but, according to the MMA Fighting website, the new agreement opens up space for Brock to fight at MMA events.

At 41 years old, Brock had his last fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016. Lesnar emerged victorious, but after testing positive in a drug test the result was changed to a no-contest fight. As a result, the fighter received a one-year suspension.
