The great day has come! After months of promotion, Ultimate will hold its main event of the year in Brazil this evening (12). UFC 224, also called UFC Rio 9, takes place in the capital of Rio de Janeiro with 13 fights and 14 Brazilians in action. In the main fight of the night, the Bahian Amanda nunes defends the women's bantamweight belt (up to 62,1kg.) against the North American Rachel Pennington.

In the second most anticipated fight of the show, Ronaldo Jacare tries to secure the chance to fight for the middleweight belt (up to 84 kg.) Kelvin Gastelum. The fight program also features a 100% Tupiniquim duel between Vitor belfort e Lyoto Machida, which could mark the Phenomenon’s farewell, the Brazilian-American fight Mackenzie dern, the new UFC muse, as well as other well-known names such as: Cezar Mutant, Thales leites, Warlley alves and John Lineker.
