Thiago Marreta faces newcomer in UFC Poland main fight

Thiago Marreta He has morals in Ultimate. Proof of this is that the Brazilian middleweight was chosen to do his first main event in the organization: he will face newcomer Michal Materla in the main fight of UFC Poland, on October 21st, in Gdansk. A participant in TUF Brasil 2, Marreta has already had 11 fights in the UFC, with seven wins and four losses. In his most recent performance, he knocked out Gerald meerschaert at UFC 213 last July. A born knockout artist, six of his seven victories in the company came via the fast track. At 33 years old, he has a record with 15 positive results and five negative results.

Materla, who is the same age as the Brazilian, will make his Ultimate debut. With a professional record of 24 wins and only five losses, he hasn't fought since October 2016, when he knocked out former UFC fighter Rousimar Palhares, known as Toquinho.
