The main event of International Fight Week 2017, UFC 213 did not disappoint. Held last Saturday (08), in Las Vegas (USA), the edition was full of interesting fights, even with the loss of its original main fight, the duel between Amanda nunes e Valentina Shevchenko, which would define the organization's women's bantamweight champion.

In this way, the main event was led by the victory of Robert whittaker against Yoel romero, a result that gave the Australian the interim middleweight belt. The second most important attraction of the show was the trilogy between Fabricio Werdum e alistair overeem, who got the better of the Brazilian after three well-fought rounds. At the end of the fight, Werdum complained a lot about the controversial decision made by the judges, who ruled the fight for the Dutchman.
Still on the main card, a highlight for the former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, who returned to the under-70kg division and beat Jim Miller. The only Brazilian victorious on the night was Thiago Marreta, which ran over Gerald meerschaert and won by technical knockout in the second round.
