Thiago Pitbull He already has a date, opponent and location set for his return to the octagon. The Brazilian welterweight will face the American Mike Perry at UFC 215, August 19, in Seattle (USA). The information was given first-hand by the website 'MMA Fighting'.

In Ultimate since 2005, Pitbull is a veteran in the house, having already had 22 fights in the company, totaling 14 triumphs and eight setbacks. His most recent performance was in April this year, when he beat Patrick Côté on points at UFC 210, recovering from two consecutive defeats suffered against Carlos Condit e Jim Miller (like light weight). He even challenged for the welterweight belt against Georges St Pierre at the historic UFC 100, in 2009, but was dominated by the Canadian. At 33 years old, he has a record with 22 positive results and 11 negative results.
Perry, in turn, can be considered a newcomer to the house, with just four fights. He debuted with the company in August 2016, when he knocked out South Korean Hyun Guy Lim at UFC 202. He followed that up with another knockout victory, this time over Danny Roberts, in October. His first setback in the company came last December, when he ended up being defeated by Alan Jouban on points. He recovered by brutally knocking out the experienced Jake ellenberger, in April this year. In total, 'Platinum' has ten wins – all by knockout – and one defeat on his record.
