Two days after being defeated by Max Holloway in the main fight of UFC 212, held in Rio de Janeiro, the now former featherweight champion José Aldo decided to speak out. Through a post on social media, Aldo praised the work of André Pederneiras, leader of the Nova União team, thanked the fans for their love and assured that he will fight again.
“I just have to thank Paizão Andre Pederneiras, the best team in the world #novauniao because, if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be the #ochampionofthepeople, all my coaches who did the job super well done and got me ready and all the fans who are always with me, here is my affection and thank you very much. I even run out of words to talk about all the affection I received and still receive to this day, with every word of affection they send me. Thanks.
