The featherweight lucas mineiro confirmed his star status at Brave 3, an event in Bahrain that landed this Saturday (18) in Curitiba. The Brazilian fighter submitted Fabian Galván in the main attraction of the show, capping a great night for the Brazilian fighters, who won nine of the ten fights – there were two duels between Brazilians.

After a well-studied first round, where Galván surprised with his counterattacks, Mineiro began a devastating second round. After an impressive sequence, he stunned the Mexican and, on the ground, ended up submitting him. After the fight, he asked for a shot at the featherweight title, which will have its first owner at Brave 4, held on March 31, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
“I want to ask for my ticket soon because I want to see the title fight live in Abu Dhabi. I'm going to get there, I'm going to challenge the champion because this title is mine. Brave put me at the top and I'm going to be a star at this event”, celebrated Mineiro, who achieved his third consecutive victory since leaving the UFC.
In the second most important fight, Brazilian Thiago Monstro could not resist Carlston Harris, who knocked him out in the second round after dominating the first round. The promising Felipe Efrain also did well and knocked out former UFC fighter Walel Watson with a punch to the liver.
