Gastelum's Brazilian coach guarantees: “Vitor will be dominated”

The contrast between the fighters, however, could prove to be the 'x of the scale', at least according to Rafael Cordeiro, leader of the Kings MMA gym and one of Gastelum's main coaches. For the Brazilian, 14 years less than his pupil will be a differentiating factor for the North American to leave the octagon with victory.

“Vitor has that starting power that we know, at the beginning of the fight, but we have to prepare, especially because we don't know how long he will be able to have that explosion. We will use Kelvin's youth and strength to our advantage”, declared Cordeiro, in an interview with the website 'Combate.com'.

Rafael also mentioned the importance that a victory over Belfort could bring to Kelvin's resume. According to the coach, a victory in Fortaleza could raise the level of the TUF 17 champion.
