Kelvin Gastelum is at home in Brazil. Passing through Fortaleza to promote his fight against Vitor belfort, on March 11th, the middleweight made a point of showing that he is a fan of Wesley Safadão and the band Aviões do Forró, symbols of northeastern music, in addition to showing all his ability with the Portuguese language.
Gastelum even sang a song by Safadão during a party last Tuesday (17), together with members of Aviões do Forró. The moment was caught by UFC Brasil cameras, which published a video of the fighter singing on social media. The North American also made another video inviting the singer to attend UFC Fortaleza.
The fighter speaks fluent Portuguese due to his relationship with trainer Rafael Cordeiro, owner of the Kings MMA gym in California. There, he also trains with other Brazilians, such as Lyoto Machida, Renato Babalu and Fabricio Werdum.
