Ronaldo Jacare believes a win over Tim Boetsch at UFC 208 will give him a chance to fight for the middleweight title. And the Brazilian sees himself competing for the Ultimate belt in 2017. Speaking to the press the week of his fight with the North American, Jacaré ruled out the possibility of never having the opportunity to compete for a UFC world title.

“I'm sure it (the title fight) will happen. I'm very good and things happen slowly with those who are very good. I need to keep fighting, I'm happy to be here fighting for the UFC and I believe I'll fight for the belt this year”, commented the Brazilian in an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting.

Jacaré also spoke about his opponent, Tim Boetsch. Despite not being one of the UFC's top middleweights, two of the North American's attributes greatly concern the Brazilian.

“He is a very strong fighter and his punches with his right hand, especially his cross and hook, are complicated. He’s trouble,” he pointed out.
