The UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, revealed that he has already accepted the terms for his next belt defense. The Englishman said that he agreed with the idea of facing Georges St Pierre at UFC 206, an event that will take place on December 10th, in Toronto, Canada.
Bisping has been calling for the fight for some time, ever since GSP announced his intentions to return to active duty. According to him, his side of the negotiation has already been defined, with only formalization remaining with the signing of the contract.

"Georges St Pierre, we all want more money! But come on, sign the papers! Give the people of Toronto what they want, be a hero! Come on, champion”, he joked, in a post published on his Twitter account.
Asked by a follower about the real possibility of the fight taking place, Bisping replied: “I verbally agreed to the fight. Negotiations for the fight have been going on for a few days.”
However, UFC president Dana White denied Bisping's words. “There won’t be Bisping x GSP in Toronto. I know Mike wants this fight, but it’s not going to happen”, he commented to the “MMA Junkie” website.
Bisping entered the octagon on October 8, at UFC 204. On that occasion, the Englishman hit Dan Henderson in the judges' decision, but he received a harsh punishment. St. Pierre hasn't fought since 2013, and has been feuding with the UFC behind the scenes ever since. The two parties are currently locked in a battle: the Canadian believes that the old contract is no longer in force, but the UFC guarantees that St. Pierre is still its athlete.
