Coming off a 10-fight winning streak, the former UFC champion, Ricco rodriguez dreams of returning to the most famous octagon in the world. The heavyweight already has a preferred opponent for his possible return. Speaking to the international press, Ricco stated that he hopes to have the opportunity to have a rematch against the Brazilian Rodrigo Minotauro, an opponent who already beat him in 2003.
“I want to be able to finish my UFC career. I believe many fans want to see Ricco Rodriguez vs. Randy Couture, or Frank mir, and I think I'm capable of facing them. But above I want a fight against (Minotauro) Nogueira,” he said.
“That fight in Japan (PRIDE – Total Elimination 2003), where elbows weren't allowed and I hit him. In the end, I still lost the decision. Many fans want to see how this fight would end, especially in the octagon and with elbows”, he said.
