The controversies of the former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones continues to resonate among the MMA community and now it was “Bones”’s turn to be the target of provocations from a castmate, the heavyweight Derrick Lewis.

In his official profile at Instagram, Lewis published a modified image of the official Ultimate video game, “EA Sports UFC 2”, in which Jones appears fighting against Daniel Cormier wearing an electronic ankle bracelet – a device used to track and monitor people on probation.

The “final touch” to the provocation came with the Reebok company logo on the anklet. The company, which became a partner of Ultimate and exclusive supplier of sports equipment for the fighters, has been the target of criticism since the agreement was signed and sponsored Jones before his troubles with the law in 2015, when he ended up breaking the sponsorship link with the former champion.

Obviously without needing to use the electronic ankle bracelet in the Octagon, Jon Jones returns to Ultimate on April 23rd, in Las Vegas (USA). On the date, the former champion faces Ovince St Preux in the fight for the interim belt in the light heavyweight category, in the main fight of UFC 197.
