Nate Marquardt wants to face Wanderlei Silva ou Vitor belfort
after winning Rousimar Toquinho, last Wednesday (15), at UFC Fight Night 22, Nate marquardt wants to face a Brazilian again. In an interview with the English magazine Fighters Only Magazine, the North American asked for a duel against Wanderlei Silva ou Vitor belfort, where the winner would have the chance to compete for the Ultimate middleweight belt.
“Guys like Vitor (Belfort) or Wanderlei (Silva) would be a great fight,” said Nate, alluding to his next opponent. Marquardt also states that if he wins his next fight he deserves the chance to fight for the belt again.
“I want the title! I'm still at the top of the category. I believe that if I win my next fight, I deserve to fight for the belt,” he said.
