The Ultimate organization hasn't even confirmed the cut in Rafael dos Anjos of UFC 196, but it was enough for it to be reported that the Brazilian fractured his foot and that his presence at the event was threatened for the campaign to begin for a possible replacement on the March 5th card.

Furthermore, if he is chosen to replace Dos Anjos, Cerrone would have to return to lightweight (up to 70 kg), as he recently moved up to the welterweight category (up to 77 kg).
