The Ultimate organization hasn't even confirmed the cut in Rafael dos Anjos of UFC 196, but it was enough for it to be reported that the Brazilian fractured his foot and that his presence at the event was threatened for the campaign to begin for a possible replacement on the March 5th card.

The first demonstration came from “Jackson's MMA”, the Cowboy team Donald Cerrone, who suggested the name of the North American as a possible opponent of Conor McGregor. "Rafael dos Anjos is out of UFC 196, and will no longer fight McGregor because of an injury. Look, UFC, if you need a replacement, we know a guy who would like to hurt another guy,” the gym wrote on social media.
Known for always offering himself as a last-minute substitute and never denying an offer to fight, Donald Cerrone he played last Sunday (21), when he beat the Brazilian namesake Alex Cowboy at UFC Pittsburgh. Furthermore, if he is chosen to replace Dos Anjos, Cerrone would have to return to lightweight (up to 70 kg), as he recently moved up to the welterweight category (up to 77 kg).
