UFC president Dana White has already shown a tendency to change his opinion quite frequently. This time, the leader went back on an old statement and hinted that he might give the José Aldo the chance to fight for the belt he dreams of.

Aldo, a former UFC featherweight champion, gave his bosses an ultimatum by demanding that his next fight in the Octagon be for a belt at stake. Shortly afterwards, White minimized the Brazilian's request, claiming that it would be difficult to get him to fight for a title after having lost to Conor McGregor in just 13 seconds of fighting.
In an interview with the Brazilian “ESPN” website, the UFC boss considered the issue and said that, in the end, he will be able to give Aldo what he wants so much. "I love José Aldo. I’ll call him and we’ll talk to decide what’s next for him,” said White, emphasizing that it would be a valid title fight.
Aldo had been champion of the featherweight division since the beginning of 2011, when the category was created in the UFC. The Brazilian, who had reached the number one position back in his WEC days, defended his title against names like Frankie Edgar, Chad Mendes e Kenny Florian. The defeat to McGregor was the first suffered by the fighter in more than ten years in the sport.
