In addition to crowning a new bantamweight champion, the five-round, high-speed battle between Dominick Cruz e TJ Dillashaw also earned its participants the “Fight of the Night” bonus at UFC Fight Night 81.

For having starred in the best fight of the event held this Sunday (17) in Boston (USA), Cruz and Dillashaw took home US$50 each, the equivalent of R$202 at the current exchange rate.
In addition to Cruz and Dillashaw, the other two athletes awarded a check for US$50 were Ed Herman and Luke sanders, both members of the preliminary card, awarded as “Performances of the Night”.
Herman beat Tim Boetsch by TKO in the second round in his first fight as a light heavyweight in Ultimate. Sanders overcame Maximo Blanco via submission in his octagon debut.
