"The Conor McGregorRecently, I wanted to train with us. Imagine being against José Aldo, who is our friend. McGregor's manager asked Rafa (Rafael Cordeiro, coach and team leader), who cut it immediately. He had no chance of training with us. If he were to train with us, it would be dangerous. He wouldn’t be able to fight, because we would break him every day”, said Werdu, during the half day of the UFC.

After the defeat of José Aldo, Kings MMA is the only team with Brazilian champions in the UFC. In addition to Werdum, in the heavyweight division, Rafael dos Anjos owns the lightweight title.
