Eight fighters, including two Brazilians, received six-month medical suspensions after UFC Fight Night 71, an event held last Wednesday (15), in San Diego, in the North American state of California.

Tony Ferguson, Josh thomson, Marion Reneau, Scott Jorgensen, Sam Sicilia, Sean Strickland and the Tupiniquim duo, Jessica Andrade e Rani Yaya, could be sidelined for an entire semester due to injuries of different types.

PUBLICITY:

Andrade will be able to return to fight before this period if he presents an exam that rules out a fracture in his right thumb. Yahya now needs to present a satisfactory CT scan.

Frank mir, who knocked out Todd Duffee in the main event of the event, did not receive a medical suspension. Duffee, on the other hand, will have to spend 45 days without fighting, 30 of which without physical contact due to the hard knockout he suffered.
