Dana goes back, rules out Cigano and says Werdum's challenger will be Arlovski or Miocic

According to the director, a duel between Brazilians was a priority, but Junior dos Santos' physical condition prevented the confrontation from taking place

Right after UFC 188, an event that crowned Fabricio Werdum as the new heavyweight champion, the President Dana White hinted that the Gaucho's first challenge could be against the Brazilian Junior Gypsy. However, the leader seems to have backtracked, and, due to Cigano's physical issues, pointed out Andrei Arlovski and Stipe Moicic as the only competitors for Werdum's next opponent.

After winning the title in Mexico, Fabricio Werdum He also received a long six-month medical suspension due to injuries sustained in the battle against Cain Velazquez.
