After being caught in two anti-doping tests in his fight against Nick Diaz at UFC 183, Anderson Silva received several criticisms from fighters, rival coaches and fans. But one voice was discordant at this moment: Wanderlei Silva.

Wand, who trained with Anderson at Chute Boxe at the beginning of his career, recorded a video on his YouTube channel where he defended his friend. According to the fighter, who announced his retirement last year after evading a drug test, fans should not doubt Spider's abilities and declares that his legacy is intact.
“How to explain the inexplicable? I think we have to know that the guy's legacy will never be touched. Anderson is the man. The way he fights is modern Bruce Lee,” he said. Wanderlei also revealed that he does not doubt the possibility of Spider going through his doping problems and winning the UFC belt again.
“After this storm passes, who knows, maybe it will come back? Do Anderson, I don't doubt anything anymore. If it passes 'the stop' If he comes back and kicks his ass again and wins the belt… Who knows”, he concluded.
