conor mcgregor There are plenty of reasons to celebrate. In the early hours of this Monday (19), the Irishman beat Dennis Siver in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 59 and secured himself as the next challenger for the featherweight belt, against the Brazilian José Aldo. Furthermore, the superb performance against Siver earned McGregor an extra bonus, for one of the “Performances of the night”, worth US$ 50 thousand (around R$ 131 thousand, at the current price).

The other two athletes awarded prizes at UFC Fight Night 59, in Boston (USA), were Matt Van Buren and Sean O'Connell. The athletes took part in only the second fight of the night and, after Van Buren started the duel better and came close to getting a final point in the confrontation, the TUF 19 veteran ended up surprised and was the victim of an incredible turnaround by O'Connell , who got the better of him by knocking out his opponent standing up.
