VIDEO: Donald Cerrone suffers serious injury in training to face Dana White's bull at rodeo

UFC Hall of Famer was preparing to participate in the 'PBR' edition in May, but had to postpone plans

Retired from MMA, Donald Cerrone He was close to meeting a new challenge in his life. On May 18, the 41-year-old former UFC fighter would be one of the attractions of thePBR'(Professional Bull Rider), a traditional North American rodeo promoter, and would ride a Dana White bull. The athlete, however, suffered a serious injury during preparatory training and had to postpone his commitment.

“As you knew, I was scheduled to ride 'Twisted Steel', Dana White's bull, in the PBR finals, on May 18th. I had to undergo surgery after tearing 100% of my biceps. It seems that when you mess with bulls, you get some injuries. This is not the end. (…) Dana White referred me to one of the best surgeons for biceps repair, and in six to eight weeks I'll be back. I’m not going to give up like this,” declared Cerrone, in the Instagram.
