The division has an owner. Alex Poatán, protagonist of UFC 300, promoted a true massacre in front of Jamahal hill. In his first title defense at light heavyweight (up to 93kg), the Brazilian took no notice of his rival and settled the bill with a brutal knockout in the first round.
In the images (see below), it is possible to follow the final moment of the clash. With the famous cross, the champion erased his opponent, who collapsed after receiving the attack.

With the victory, Alex remains at the absolute top of his category. The triumph also marked the success of the Brazilian star's first title defense.
