“(Charles) Oliveira made it very clear that he does not want to face Islam. He made that clear before they fought in October, when a paper cut canceled that fight,” accused the former fighter.

Another point mentioned by Chael Sonnen was the recent interview with Diego Lima, main coach of Charles of the Bronx, who spoke about the possibility of the Brazilian seeking a fight against Conor McGregor.

“Oliveira and his manager gave, in the last seven days, separate interviews stating that, if they win Arman Tsarukyan, want Conor McGregor. If you're going to sit and wait Conor McGregor, are you unemployed. If you ask to face Conor when someone is trying to give you a world title fight, we can't force you to do something you don't want to do,” concluded Sonnen.
