In a convincing and strategic performance, Norm Dumont dominated the former champion Germain de Randamie on the night of this Saturday (6), in UFC Las Vegas 90, and won his fourth consecutive victory in the organization. The Minas Gerais native, Brazil's only female representative at the event, showed intelligence and refined technique to overcome the Dutch in the unanimous decision of the judges.
With victory, Norm Dumont consolidates itself as one of the main forces in the UFC bantamweight division. The Brazilian, who has already won four consecutive victories in the organization, is getting closer and closer to fighting for the belt.

Germain de Randamie, which has not performed since October 2020, now has a record of ten positive results and five negative results. The Dutchwoman, who was UFC champion in the past, has only one positive result in her last three appearances.
Norma Dumont dominates De Randamie and achieves new UFC victory
With intelligence, Norma did not stop Randamie from working on her feet and applied a good takedown from the sandá, derived from Chinese martial arts such as kung fu, from which she carries the plasticity. She, on top, worked good strikes in the first half and controlled the Dutchwoman's actions.
In the second round, Germaine felt comfortable on her feet and showed the arsenal of strikes that made her reach the top of the UFC, including a devastating kick to Dumont's face, who absorbed the blow well and denied that the blow had landed. The Minas Gerais native then chose to invest in the takedown again and took down the former champion, remaining on top until the end of the round.
If it worked, Norma repeats it. And she made another fall at the beginning of the third round, when she applied a takedown and landed in the 100kg position. In position, the Brazilian made transitions to the catagatame and even tried a rear-naked choke when she reached Germaine's back, who just kept making the defense, but had no answer to get out of the position.
