This Wednesday night (29) was quite eventful for the light heavyweight Mauritius Shogun. After being announced as one of the coaches for the 4th edition of the reality show, The Ultimate Fighter Brazil, alongside his friend and former training partner Anderson Silva, the Curitiba native received the news that his next opponent will be changed less than 10 days before the fight. This is because Jimi Manuwa was injured and Shogun will now face Ovince St Preux in the main fight of UFC Uberlândia.

According to UFC president Dana White, through his official profile on Instagram, a broken foot suffered during training led to Manuwa's exclusion from the card. Now St. Preux, who replaces the Nigerian-British, would face Amazonian Francimar Bodão also in Uberlândia. So far, it has not been announced whether Bodão will be removed from the event or will face another opponent.
