MMA star, Conor McGregor he last triumphed exactly four years ago. Summoned to star in UFC 246, the Irishman returned to the Octagon in masterful fashion after a year and three months of inactivity after losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Willing to put on a gala performance, the Irishman needed little time to knock out Donald Cerrone and drive the audience at the T-Mobile Arena crazy.

With a calm and different stance from what his fans are used to, McGregor avoided provocations and the start of a rivalry with Cerrone during the promotion of the fight. Recovering from the defeat he suffered against Khabib, the Irishman seemed not to want to count on victory too soon. Character or not, the attitude worked to implement his violent strategy.

At the beginning of the confrontation, the Irishman closed the distance and began a series of heavy blows against the North American. To the surprise of many, Conor used his shoulder to damage Cerrone, a strategy never used by the former champion until then. Confident, McGregor threw Donald's best blow: a high kick. Without difficulty, the fighter stunned ‘Cowboy’ and started the end of the fight with several punches after hurting his rival. The fight lasted 40 seconds.

Despite the great performance, McGregor was unable to maintain his pace in the organization and the following year he suffered two consecutive defeats to Dustin poirier, where in the trilogy he fractured his ankle. Since then, many fans have been waiting for the return of ‘Notório’, which is scheduled for June 29th, against Michael chandler, in the middleweight category (up to 83,9kg.)
