Second place in the welterweight rankings (up to 77,1 kg) and reserve for the title fight between Leon edwards e Colby covington No. UFC 296, this Saturday (16), Belal Muhammad | he had to study the two protagonists of the event a lot and revealed, in an interview with 'MMA Junkie', what to expect from both of them.

About Colby covington, Belal Muhammad | believes that the North American's game plan in UFC 296 must be pressed and left Leon edwards uncomfortable during the 25 minutes of combat, but sees the ability to absorb blows as the main barrier for his compatriot.

“I watched videos of both of their fights. I think it will be interesting. I think if Colby can keep the pressure on Leon's face, we've already seen Leon break. Colby needs to maintain pressure for 25 minutes. We know he could do it, but I think his chin is gone. I think he's been rocked in the last three or four fights. He was knocked out by Usman and rocked by Masvidal. He's been out for a long time, but I don't think it will affect him, because he'll maintain the same style of throwing a lot of punches and going down 55 times,” said Belal.

As for the champion, Belal Muhammad | believes that the main weakness is in the mental part, which, according to him, has already had its weaknesses exposed on other occasions.

“I think Leon might be affected if Colby starts talking s*** to him. If Colby gets into his mind, we've already seen Leon mentally weak and almost breaking down in the cage against Usman in the second fight. I don't think he's as mentally strong as he thinks he is. I know they say you get like 30% better when you get the title, but I don’t know,” he concluded.
