Positive results for illegal substances in two consecutive anti-doping tests led to Chael Sonnen was cut from UFC 175, retired from MMA and, more recently, was fired from his post as host of “UFC Tonight”, on North American TV. But if it's any consolation to Sonnen, his place in the main fight of the Metamoris 4 submission event is guaranteed, as announced by the organization itself.

When asked by a fan about Sonnen's stay on the August 9th card, the organization's anti-doping policies and its relationship with regulatory bodies, Metamoris management used good humor to confirm the loudmouth's presence. “Yes (Sonnen will continue at Metamoris). And the only test Chael should worry about on Metamoris 4 is its technical condition. He is against all odds”, responded the event on its official profile on the microblogging network.
