“One fight a year is not enough. I need more. I want three or four. If I can get to where I need to be, three or four a year is perfect. One is crazy. It's been a year, a year off, a year on, a year off and obviously with the leg, it took a little longer. It’s not over yet,” McGregor said.

Former double UFC champion, Conor has not fought professionally since July 2021 when he injured his leg in the trilogy against Dustin poirier. Despite not yet having an official return date, McGregor already knows he will face the fellow veteran Michael chandler. The two athletes lead the thirtieth edition of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter' and will compete at the end of the season.
