Brazilian standout in welterweight (up to 77kg.), Gilbert Durinho spoke about fan support at the Jeunesse Arena, in UFC 283 from Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian, who measures forces against Neil Magny, reveals that he is doing 'psychological work' to avoid being negatively affected by the fans and transforming support into encouragement.
“I'm doing a lot of psychological work. It is the first event that my psychologist will be present at. I'm making a lot of progress in this. I am privileged to have the UFC in my city. I'll be home soon, in an angry card. I’m very happy that they will be there cheering”, analyzed Durinho.

“I don’t see it as pressure, I see it as a good thing. But it doesn't change the fact that I have to do my job. I’ve fought in empty arenas and in crowded arenas, but being focused it’s difficult for anyone in the category to beat me,” she said.
Professional since 2012, Gilbert Durinho occupies fifth place in the welterweight rankings (up to 77kg) and could get closer to a new chance to compete for the title. In his career, the Brazilian has a record of 20 positive results and five negative results.
