Still talking about his 'legacy' in martial arts, the Brazilian legend also gave 'advice' to the Shogun at the beginning of his career. He recalled his problem with injuries, but conveys a message about not giving up, despite adversity.

“I would definitely tell the youngest Shogun to never give up. My biggest challenges in the fight were injuries. Today my biggest difficulty is training with chronic injuries. I would definitely tell him to never give up. What got me where I am was persisting. I see how people give up on their dreams and that is a big mistake”, concluded the fighter.
