Jon Jones provokes Stipe Miocic again and challenges former heavyweight champion: 'Sign the contract'

The light heavyweight legend continues to ask for a duel against the American firefighter and accused him of not having yet agreed to share the octagon with him

After announcing that he was preparing to face Stipe Miocic No. UFC 282, Jon Jones continues to provoke his possible future rival. In a post made on his Twitter, the light heavyweight legend (up to 93kg) once again challenged the former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) and asked the firefighter to sign the contract immediately so that both of them could share the octagon on the day December 10th.

“I'm bringing all the heat, Miocic. I have that fire that you could never put out. Sign the #UFC282 contract,” wrote Jones

Former heavyweight champion, Miocic has not stepped into the Octagon since March 2021, when he was knocked out by Francis Ngannou and got his belt from the Cameroonian. The North American has a record of 20 triumphs and four setbacks as a mixed martial arts professional.

One of the biggest names in the history of the UFC and the light heavyweight division, Jon Jones has also been away from the Octagon for a long time. ‘Bones’ last commitment to Ultimate took place in February 2020, when he defeated Dominick reyes in the unanimous decision of the judges. At 35 years of age, the controversial fighter has a record in the sport of 26 triumphs, one setback and one no-contest.
