Brazilian Guto Inocente already has a date and opponent set for his UFC debut. The athlete from Brasilia faces the North American Shane Del Rosario at UFC 168, an event that takes place on December 28th, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
Guto, who spent his career in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg), will make his first appearance in the heavyweight category (up to 125 kg). He has an MMA record of six wins and two losses and comes from a triumph over Virgil Zwicker in May 2012, an event that marked the end of Strikeforce.
In turn, Rosario has a professional record of 11 wins and two losses, but the American's form is not good inside the Octagon. In two appearances, he was defeated by Stipe Miocic and Pat Barry.
The main fight of UFC 168 features the long-awaited rematch between Anderson Silva e Chris Weidman, valid for the organization's middleweight belt. In addition to Anderson and Guto, the show's fight program features four more Brazilians: Diego Brandao face Dustin poirier, Fabrício Morango faces Jim Miller, Gleison Tibau measures forces against Michael Johnson e William Patolino will face Bobby Voelker.
