Nate Diaz plans return to the Octagon in December

Involved in constant discussions with Dustin poirier e Conor McGregor on the social networks, Nate diaz wants to return to the Octagon this year. According to information from the North American website MMAFighting.com, the former holder of the UFC's BMF belt is absolutely focused on fighting in December and has a list of “very relevant” opponents available.

This Wednesday (18), through his official Instagram profile, Nate diaz fueled rumors that he will fight again in 2021.

“Defending in December”, wrote the fighter in the caption of a photo of him in the gym.

Although he has no defined opponent, everything indicates that Dustin poirier could be Diaz's opponent later in the year. Despite having the opportunity to fight for the belt against Charles of the Bronx, Poirier has already stated on yet another opportunity that he welcomed another “money fight”.

If the December fight is actually confirmed, it will be the second time Nate diaz enters the octagon in 2021. The Californian from Stockton faced Leon edwards in a five-round fight at UFC 263, in June, and ended up defeated by unanimous decision.

The last victory of Nate diaz occurred in August 2019, when he defeated former champion Anthony Pettis via unanimous decision at UFC 241.
