Living your best moment in your career, Vincent Luque wants to fight for the belt and, to stamp his passport for a title fight, he can find an 'old acquaintance'. In an exclusive interview with SUPER FIGHTS channel on YouTube, the Brazilian opened the door for a rematch against Leon edwards to define the next challenger in the division.

“I haven't stopped to think much yet, but it's very difficult for me to sit still. So, if whoever wins in November only fights in the middle of next year, I think that would be a long time for me to go without fighting. I do not like this. And one more fight would make sense. I look up and there, there Leon edwards and Colby (Covington) – who will fight for the belt (…) Leon is a rematch that would interest me a lot. If you compare my first fights, you can clearly see the physical improvement I had. And I'm a very technical guy, I've always trained a lot of fundamentals and I feel like I'm evolving more and more, whether in striking or on the ground and wrestling”, added the fighter.
Currently, Luque is ranked fourth in the welterweight rankings, while Edwards is third. 'Rocky' even mocked the Brazilian's victory over Michael chiesa No. UFC 265 and recalled the triumph in the past.
