Cheyanne buys couldn't hold back the tears when she was informed that she had won the 'Performance of the Night' award at the UFC Las Vegas 33 last Saturday (31). The fighter, who knocked out Glorinha de Paula With a high kick in the second most important fight of the night, he took home US$50 (around R$260).

In the post-event press conference, the American detailed her tough battle to receive the prize, says that she had a 'negative' account and reveals plans to save the money she won.
“It will make a big difference to me. I'm 'negative' on my account and I was broke for most of my life through sport, but in the end it was worth it. I love that. Now, I'm going to want to buy some things for my house and my animals. I'm also going to take my team out to dinner and buy something for the family. However, it is a change and I need to save the money to fight again”, said the fighter.
Revealed by 'Dana White's Contender Series', a reality show that aims to discover new promises in Ultimate, Buys lost in her debut, in March this year, but recovered masterfully by knocking out in the first minute of the duel against the Brazilian.
