Now, the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg.) Michael Bisping defended the North American for admitting his mistake in the past and said he was happy to see him back in combat against Cory Sandhagen in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 32 this Saturday (24).

"TJ Dillashaw served and confessed to a two-year suspension, I respect that. Everyone knows my stance on steroids, but he put his hand up and said, 'Yes, I cheated, the pressure got to me.' It's cool to see, since most fighters make up an excuse, they say it was some supplement, cream or something. They come up with weird things to try to make up for it, instead of just saying, 'Hey, you got me.' I respect that,” Bisping said in a video on his YouTube channel.YouTube'.

Asked about the return of TJ Dillashaw, the veteran gave his opinion on the matter. For him, the North American has already served his two-year suspension and is therefore ready to return to competition.

“He served the two-year suspension. You may have different thoughts about this. Maybe you think he shouldn't be competing and be banned for life. Whatever it is, it doesn't matter. The punishment was decided like this. It was a two-year suspension and he fulfilled it”, concluded the Englishman.

Considered one of the best fighters in recent bantamweight history, Dillashaw has not performed since his loss to Henry Cejudo, in January 2019, when he ventured into the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg.) to try for his second title. On that occasion, in addition to being easily beaten by his compatriot, the athlete admitted to having ingested prohibited substances that would help with weight cutting.
