Dana White assessed the motivation of Conor McGregor for the third part of the rivalry against Dustin poirier, which occurs in UFC 264 this Saturday (10), in Las Vegas (USA). In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the UFC president believes that the scenario could result in the 'Notório' being able to compete for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), in case of victory.

"Conor McGregor He is a natural competitor and, on top of that, he has a lot of money. He no longer needs to fight, but he does it to get back to the top. He has a special motivation for combat. If he beats the world number one (in the rankings), he will get a shot at the division title. And one thing Conor likes most about competing is money. And he always makes a lot of money,” said Dana.

Despite highlighting that Conor McGregor can compete for the title against Charles of the Bronx, Dana White also does not rule out that the Irishman prefers to follow an alternative path. He also highlights that the 'Notorious' is always willing to fight against all possible competitors.

“You never know where this kid’s head is and what he’s thinking. What happens with Conor McGregor It's just that this guy always stepped up and was willing to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. He is extremely rich. The question is: how much more of this does he want? How hungry is he? We'll find out on Saturday night. Win, lose or draw, we’ll probably find out a few weeks after that what he wants to do next.”
