“Freakshow” is fired from UFC after second defeat

British Colin Fletcher announced his dismissal through his Twitter account

Colin Freakshow Flecher 2Known for his tattoos and masks worn before his fights, British Colin Fletcher, known as “Freakshow”, was fired from the UFC. The fighter, who participated in the TUF United Kingdom x Australia edition, last acted at UFC 158, in March, when he lost to Mike Ricci in a unanimous decision by the judges. The news was confirmed by the athlete himself through his Twitter account.

“Cut after an official fight seems a little harsh. I know my performance wasn't the best. Let it go,” Fletcher wrote on the microblog.

In fact, Fletcher had two appearances in Ultimate. At UFC on FX 6 in December 2012, he lost the TUF final to Norman Parke via unanimous decision. In 2013, he was surpassed by Mike Ricci. At 30 years old, Fletcher leaves the UFC with a record of eight wins and three losses.
