Do Bronx makes a bold prediction for the outcome of his fight against Chandler for the lightweight belt

Greatest finisher in Ultimate history, Charles of the Bronx believes he will win his next challenge without using his greatest weapon. Opponent of Michael chandler in the fight for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg.) in UFC 262, the Brazilian wants to show off his entire arsenal this Saturday (15). In an interview with ‘UFC Countdown', the São Paulo native bet that he will defeat his rival with a knockout.

Having been in Ultimate for over 10 years, Do Bronx will have his first title fight in the organization this weekend. A standout in the lightweight division, the São Paulo native is enjoying the best moment of his career, with eight consecutive victories.

Bellator legend, Chandler arrived at the organization in the second half of 2020. The fighter debuted with the company in UFC 257 and, after running over Dan Hooker, stamped his passport to fight for the organization's title.

The winner of this Saturday's clash will make history for the organization. Whoever triumphs will occupy the throne left by Khabib Nurmagomedov, who retired from MMA with a perfect career, undefeated in 29 appearances.

At 31 years old, Do Bronx has 30 wins, eight losses and one 'no result' fight in his career in MMA. Chandler, 35, has 22 positive results and five negative results.
