At an official weigh-in for the UFC 262, which was held this Friday morning (14), in Houston (USA), the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx confirmed the limit of the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg.) and guaranteed his presence in the dispute for the vacant belt against Michael chandler, which takes place this Saturday (26). Another six Brazilians will also be on the card.

First to weigh in on stage UFC 262, Charles of the Bronx – who stares Michael chandler – he seemed calm and, in great shape, weighed 70,3kg. The Brazilian stayed within the limit established by the category for a title fight and confirmed his presence in the fight.
Just like his opponent, the North American Michael chandler, second to step on the scale, also fulfilled his commitment and weighed 70,3kg, thus guaranteeing his place in the main attraction of the UFC 262.
Responsible for the co-main fight of the night, Tony Ferguson e Beneil Dariush also different results when weighing. The 'Bicho Papão' weighed in at 70,7kg. and passed through the scales. The naturalized North American Assyrian weighed 71kg. on the first attempt and exceeded the lightweight limit (up to 70,3kg.) by 200g. However, with an hour to close the gap, he managed to measure 70,7kg.
More Brazil on the card
With six other representatives, in addition to Charles of the Bronx, the Tupiniquins started the card on the right foot. Representatives on the main card, Viviane Araujo (57,1kg.) and Edson Barboza (66,2kg.) confirmed their presence on the card. They face Katlyn chookagian (57,1kg.) and Shane burgos (66,2kg.), respectively.
At the end of the preliminary card, Ronaldo Jacare e André Sergipano reached the same mark. In a Brazilian duel, the Brazilians weighed 84,3kg, in a fight held in the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg).
Another Brazilian representative on the preliminary card, Priscila Pedrita at the weigh-in for his fifth UFC fight. Representative of the flyweights (up to 56,7kg), the fighter weighed 57,1kg, the same amount as her rival, Gina Mazany.
Failed weight cut
The Brazilian Rogerio Bontorin, who has the third most important fight of the night, failed to make the weight cut for his division. He weighed 62,1kg. and was above the rooster limit by 450g. Your opponent, Matt schnell, weighed 61,7kg. The athletes' fight, however, is maintained on the card.
