UFC 158 suffered an important loss this Monday (18). The welterweight Rory McDonald was injured during training and will not be able to face Carlos Condit. The duel had been requested by MacDonald and would mark a rematch, as Condit won the first fight between them at UFC 115, in 2010.
With MacDonald's injury, John hendricks, which would face Jake ellenberger on the show, he was called up to face Condit in the second most important fight on the show. The confirmation was made through the UFC profile on Twitter. According to the publication, Ellenberger is the one awaiting the announcement of a new opponent.
UFC 158 is scheduled to take place on March 16, in Montreal, and features as its main attraction the welterweight belt fight between Georges St Pierre e Nick Diaz.
