Dos Anjos' victory ended his two-fight losing streak and 'Cowboy' wants to follow the same path.
On his social media, Cerrone informed that he will also return to the lightweight division and promised that 2021 will be the year that the good old 'Cowboy' will be seen in the octagon.

Currently, Donald Cerrone, 37 years old, is in 15th place in the lightweight rankings, even though he is going through the worst phase of his career. In the last five fights, 'Cowboy' was defeated four times and the other was a draw against Niko Price, precisely, in his last appearance.
It is worth remembering that Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos They faced each other twice and the friendly rivalry is unfavorable to the North American. In the first clash, in 2013, the Brazilian won by unanimous decision from the judges. In the second, in 2015, for the category belt, Cerrone was knocked out in the first round, just over a minute into the fight.
