“I want to be a better example for my family, for my unborn child. For my queen, Latory Gonzalez, and for me to earn the respect I deserve. To my supporters and UFC bosses, I want to apologize for how my actions impacted our relationships. I will be better,” Perry wrote on his Twitter account.
The incident at the restaurant located in Texas (USA) happened just a few days after Mike returned to his winning ways and ended a streak of two negative results. At the event, Perry ended up drawing public attention after dismissing his coaches and appearing for the confrontation against Mickey gall counting only on his partner in his corner.
In the fight, the combatant emerged victorious in the unanimous decision of the judges.
At 28 years old, Perry has 20 fights as a professional in MMA. The fighter has 14 triumphs and six setbacks. Mike is known for his aggressiveness and for promoting hectic confrontations among sports enthusiasts.
Almost a week ago, the fighter and his partner announced that they would be parents of a boy. They shared the news with fans on social media.
I want to be a better role model for my family. For my unborn son. My Queen @latory_g and for myself so I can earn the respect I deserve. To my sponsors and my bosses at @ufc I want to apologize for how my actions have impacted our relationships. I will be better all around #Oss
