Ultimate's president, Dana White, promised and continues to deliver. After becoming the first promoter – among the largest MMA organizations in the world – to resume activities during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the 'big boss' continues to put on great shows. Aiming to attract the public to the UFC 251, the president published an exciting video of the event taking place on July 11th, which will mark the debut of events on the long-awaited 'Ilha da Luta' and promises to be one of the biggest cards of the year.

A few weeks ago, it was confirmed to the public that 'Fight Island' is a space located in Abu Dhabi. The venue will feature four UFC events in the month of July alone and, at its debut show, will bring fans of the sport three title fights.
On July 11, the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg), featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and welterweight (up to 77kg) titles will be put on the line. Brazilian fans should stay tuned, as the show could end with two Tupinikins sporting the organization's belts.
Brazilian legend in MMA, José Aldo will have the chance to return to the top of a UFC category. After migrating to the bantamweight division in December last year, the manauara will face the dangerous Petr yan in contention for the vacant bantamweight title, which has been without a champion since the retirement of Henry Cejudo, in May of this year.
In the main fight, Gilbert Durinho will try to assert his meteoric rise among the welterweights and exchange forces against the current 'owner of the group', Kamaru Usman.
The event will also feature a rematch between Alexander Volkanovsky against the former featherweight champion, Max Holloway, for the belt in the under-65,7kg division.
For the green and yellow fans, the show will also feature the presence of Jéssica 'Bate-Estaca', who will once again face her former rival, Rose namajunas; Amanda ribas, which exchanges forces against paige vanzant, Elizeu Capoeira, which faces muslim salikhov, Leo Santos against Roman Bogatov; Raulian paiva and Zhalgas Zhamagulov and, finally, the Tupiniquim meeting between Karol Rosa e Vanessa melo.
