With a fight this Saturday, Klidson Abreu wants to frustrate the Russians and win his second victory in Ultimate

This Saturday (9), the Brazilian Klidson opened will have one of the most complicated challenges in the UFC Moscow, in Russia. The athlete will have to face, in addition to a tough opponent, Shamil Ganzatov, undefeated and making his debut for the company, the agitated and enthusiastic public of the rival country. Even with the adversity, the man from Manaus says he is prepared for any bad weather that may arise inside the octagon. In an interview with 'Combate', the heavyweight spoke about his expectations for the clash.

“I have the greatest respect for all Russians. Every time I came to fight here, it was a war. I'm sure Saturday will be a war too. I'm well prepared. My last fight with the Sam alvey gave me a better standing experience. Now, I came here to Russia and left alone. It's what I do best. I've been here twice and won. Let’s go for the third!”, commented the combatant.

This weekend's presentation will mark the third time that the Brazilian steps into the Octagon in 2019 alone and the second that he faces a Russian fighter wearing Ultimate gloves. Although he was defeated by Magomed Ankalayev, in February, on his debut, the manauara states that he is ready for his challenge on Saturday and guaranteed that he has corrected past mistakes.

“This time I am well prepared. I speak this time because, the last time, I was hired to fight a Russian (Magomed Ankalayev) in Prague, and I ended up having a blur. I lost on my debut. This time I am 100% trained. I did my training there at ATT (American Top Team) under the command of Conan Silveira. I'm very happy, I arrived here in Russia and I've already trained,' confessed the Brazilian.

To achieve a positive result in front of a crowd that will be rooting against, Abreu will also have to overcome an undefeated opponent who will probably sell the match dearly. Shamil Ganzatov will make his debut for the company after 13 clashes as an MMA professional.

The 29-year-old Russian is known for his knockout power and quality ground game.

With just three defeats in his career, Klidson uses jiu-jitsu as his main weapon. Of his 15 career victories, 10 were through the 'gentle art'; four by knockout and one by judges' decision.
